YAB recognizes the need to open a teen center so kids can have a safe place to go after school or on weekends. The youth have committed to raising 25% of the funds needed to pay the rent for one year, staff the center, and buy supplies. The UYLC Board has committed to helping raise the remainder of the funds. The doors will open after an initial $10,000 has been raised, and the group is already one third of the way to that goal.
