Our board members keep the UYLC mission alive: “To empower youth and adults to build a healthier community through prevention leadership.” They’re dedicated to the health, safety, and wellbeing of our community by serving at UYLC.

After graduating from Timberline High School in the Pierce/Weippe area Kelly married his high school sweetheart Kari. They have two adult daughters, their husbands and six grandchildren. Kelly and Kari have lived in the Kamiah/Kooskia area the past 35 years. They are pastors at The Life Center and they also travel around to help other churches in the Pacific Northwest. They love being involved in the community and helping others. Kelly loves Fords and the Dallas Cowboys! He also loves teaching leadership to people who are interested in helping others.

Lewis County Sheriff Jason Davis serves as the UYLC Vice President.
Carrie Wiley
Secretary
Carrie is a mother and wife for whom family and community is everything. She is a person in long term recovery from substance abuse and loves the opportunity to be able to serve UYLC where she can help teens make better life choices through prevention and finding fun and rewarding activities.

Peggy is an educator that grew up in Kamiah.
Sandy Russo
Member at Large
Sandy has a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education & Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in School & Mental Health Counseling. She has worked in public education and in a private practice. Her life verse is: What you do to the least of these my brethren you do unto me. Her life goal is to leave a community or a life in better shape than when she found it.
Terry Law
Member at Large
Terry was born in Hudson, New York and spent her adult years working in the New York City area. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Mercy College, located at Dobbs Ferry, New York. While on vacation she fell in love with Idaho and moved to the Kamiah area in the spring of 2004. She has worked for the Kamiah School District since December 2008, and she is currently the Family Support Liaison. She became a UYLC Board Member in December, 2021.
